We innovate and develop new multifunctional water retaining agents to solve the problems of traditional polyacrylic acid-acrylamide, polyacrylic acid-starch, polyacrylic acid-cyclodextrin and other types of water retaining agents that are difficult to be degraded or have limited fertilizer retention capacity.

The multifunctional water retaining agent and the preparation method have the following advantages:
① Introducing Pullulan polysaccharide into the structure of water retaining agent makes the water retaining agent obtain good biodegradability and improve water retention;
② Introducing β-cyclodextrin structure through maleic anhydride β-cyclodextrin monomer, using the special molecular cavity structure of cyclodextrin to improve the water retaining agent with good fertilizer retaining effect;
③ In the late stage of polymerization reaction, adding dried powder of Bacillus sphaericus, and then drying and crushing improved the effect of Bacillus sphaericus and made the water retaining agent obtain physiological efficacy, compared with the way of grinding powder of the water retaining agent and then mixing it with powder of the bacterium, which saved energy, simplified the process, and reduced dust pollution, and made the water retaining agent absorb and swell to become gel, and the bacterium body can be kept in the gel body to enhance the role of slow-release, and improved the final Effect.
